Manitoba Farm Women's Conference

This is a great year to “Keep it Real, and Keep it Rural!” What a fitting theme of the 22nd Annual Manitoba Farm Women’s Conference. This year’s event will be held at the Brandon Victoria Inn, November 2, 3 & 4th and the organizing committee has been working hard to ensure that it will be another success.

This year’s program looks promising as many of the speakers and workshops presenters will focus on healthy rural living, and keynote speaker Rolande Kirouac is no exception. As a Laughter Yoga ™ teacher, Rolande will bring a motivational presentation promoting healthy laughter in the daily lives of rural women in Manitoba. As part of the Select-a-Session series, Rolande will also lead a laughter workshop, teaching participants how to become more productive in daily life and reduce stress as you increase laughter in your life. Other session topics at this year’s conference include landscaping, work/life balance, and farm risk management.

Another outstanding panel discussion is anticipated this year, as professionals within the health sector will address a broad range of issues related to physical and mental health or rural women.

The organizing committee is encouraging rural women from across Manitoba to attend. Registration forms are available at your local MAFRI GO offices, or CLICK HERE
